MESSAGE: This is a long shot, I know, especially since it`s been about 20 years, but I`m looking for a Luke, or Lucas Vreelander. We met in 1990 or 1991, when I was down there with my then new husband Tim. We were the couple from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We met Luke through his then ex wife, who was working at La Palapas Restaurant in Vallarta, Mexico. He also had a 9 year old son at the time. Luke had moved to Vallarta from Belgium, and was well known and liked by all the locals. He was good friends with the then Mayor of Vallarta at the time, whom we had the pleasure of meeting. We went down several years in a row, and each time, Luke always went out of his way to take us to places no other tourists had the privilege of seeing. He also spoke the native tongue of the mountain people who came down every summer to sell their beaded bowls and masks at the markets. If there is any chance that anyone might have known him, or know how to contact him, I would so appreciate this!
